SNO EXCHANGE 2025

The Student Network Organization Exchange Program 2025 is in collaboration with The Network: TUFH at the TUFH 2025 conference! The conference will be in Greater Philadelphia, United States.

One Deserving international student will be chosen for a one- to two-week community-focused exchange program, hosted by Woods System of Care prior to the conference. You’ll dive into community health, learning about local traditions, and healthcare systems. They will have a variety of experiences in healthcare in the Philadelphia area with an emphasis on services provided by the Woods System of Care and intellectual and developmental disability, autism, and behavioral healthcare, including social enterprises, integrated care medical centers, residential and group homes, brain injury rehabilitation program, and crisis management. Plus, you’ll have the unique opportunity to be tutored and mentored in conducting a research study, based on your interests and supervised by a local expert!

The exchange is intended specifically for undergraduate students, medical students or any other healthcare disciplines. The winner will be fully sponsored i.e. economic flight tickets, accommodation and stipend for daily expenses, as well as the registration and accommodation for TUFH 2025 conference. Past winners can not apply.

  • Letter of interest (max 1 page – Why do you want to attend SNO exchange program? How will you use knowledge gained / how it’ll contribute to your future career? Elaborate on experience in research / community participation)
  • Letter of SNO involvement (max 1 page –  Please mention your active roles, achievements and previous TUFH conferences you have attended )

    1. What type of research study you would like to conduct?
    2. What themes or topic you would like to study?
    3. What are the research questions would you like to investigate?
    4. How would you start the research?
    5. What is the name and e-mail of the faculty member at YOUR institution that would guide you on this?
