In addition, there was a deep dive into community health systems across four co-hosting universities, including visits to clinics, community health centres, and public health projects.
Supervised Research Study
Moreover, Sara was paired with a dedicated academic supervisor, gaining hands-on experience in research design, data collection, and critical reflection on health systems.
UBUNTU 2024 Conference
The journey culminated at the UBUNTU 2024 conference — a joint event between The Network: TUFH and Rural WONCA, celebrating TUFH’s 45th anniversary and global rural health.
Global Networking
Throughout the two weeks, Sara met healthcare educators, students, and policymakers from around the world, building relationships that extend far beyond the program itself.
