In addition, there was a deep dive into community health systems across four co-hosting universities, including visits to clinics, community health centres, and public health projects.

Moreover, Sara was paired with a dedicated academic supervisor, gaining hands-on experience in research design, data collection, and critical reflection on health systems.

The journey culminated at the UBUNTU 2024 conference – a joint event between The Network: TUFH and Rural WONCA, celebrating TUFH’s 45th anniversary and global rural health.
